Terms of Service
The agreement between you and Vidoco when you use the site or subscribe.
Agreement
These terms govern your use of Vidoco (https://vidoco.shaheermalik.com), which is operated by Shaheer Malik. By using Vidoco you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the service.
The service
Vidoco is a browser-based video editor. You build videos from templates and animated elements, and export them as MP4 files.
Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 16 to use Vidoco. You sign in with your Google account, and you’re responsible for what happens under your account.
Free trial
New subscribers get a 3-day free trial of Vidoco Pro. You’ll add a payment method at checkout. If you don’t cancel before the trial ends, your subscription starts and you’re charged the price of the plan you chose. The trial is limited to one per person.
Plans, billing and taxes
Vidoco Pro costs $7 a month or $49 a year, in US dollars. You’re billed in advance for each period, and your subscription renews automatically until you cancel.
Payments are processed by Polar Software, Inc., which acts as merchant of record. Polar may add sales tax or VAT depending on where you are, and its terms also apply to your purchase.
We may change prices. If we do, we’ll give you at least 30 days’ notice before your next renewal.
Cancellation and refunds
You can cancel at any time from the account menu → Manage billing. You keep access until the end of the period you’ve already paid for, and you won’t be charged again.
The free trial lets you try Vidoco before you pay, so payments already made aren’t refundable — except where the law requires a refund.
Your content
You own the projects and videos you make. You give us a limited permission to process your content, only so we can render and deliver the videos you export.
You’re responsible for having the rights to any text, names, logos or other material you put in your videos.
Using what you export
You may use videos you export from Vidoco for any lawful purpose, including commercial use. Vidoco’s animated elements are built on the open-source remocn library, which is released under the MIT licence.
Acceptable use
Don’t use Vidoco to:
- create unlawful, infringing, hateful, deceptive or harmful content;
- interfere with or overload our servers, or try to get around subscription limits;
- resell or share access to your account, or scrape the service;
- generate exports automatically in bulk.
Availability
We work to keep Vidoco running, but we can’t promise it will always be available or free of errors. Features may change over time.
Exported files are kept for about an hour, so download them promptly.
Disclaimer
Vidoco is provided “as is” and “as available”, to the extent the law allows.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, and we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law.
Termination
You can stop using Vidoco at any time. We may suspend or end access for anyone who breaks these terms.
Changes to these terms
If we update these terms we’ll change the date at the top of this page, and tell subscribers by email if the change is significant. Continuing to use Vidoco afterwards means you accept the updated terms.
